Church Introduction 教會簡介

The church was established in 1981 and initially rented space at the First Baptist Church in West Hartford. By the grace of God, we purchased our current church building in 2018. Under God's guidance and protection, the church has developed over the years and now offers ministries in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, as well as programs for youth and children.  Various fellowship groups have been formed to meet the needs of different age groups and spiritual journeys. The church now has a dedicated youth pastor and a children's ministry team, ensuring that young people receive strong biblical teaching to help them grow in faith and maturity.  

教會成立於一九八一年，租用西哈城的第一浸信會聚會。蒙神的恩典，我們於2018年購入現在的堂會，在神的引導和保守之下，教會經過多年的發展，現在有國語，粵語，英語，青少年和兒童等事工。形成了適合不同年齡階段和需要的團契（小組）。教會現在有專職的青少年牧師和兒童事工團隊，青少年和兒童在這裡得到很好聖經教導，幫助他們健康成長。

Meet the Team 我們的牧者

  • Luke Yan 晏魯 - Mandarin Ministry Pastor 國語堂牧師

    Pastor Luke was called by the Lord in 1998. He graduated from Christian Worker Theological Seminary in 2001 and is currently studying for a Doctor of Ministry degree at (Zhengdao Theological Seminary).

    Pastor Luke has been the Mandarin Pastor at CBCGH since 2022. He has been in full-time ministry since 2001. He has served in the Connecticut Evangelical Church in California for three years, the Rock Chinese Alliance Church in New York for fifteen years, and the California Chinese Mission USA Office for three years.

    Pastor Luke’s wife, Huifeng was called by the Lord in 2000 and has been working together with Pastor Luke at CBCGH. She graduated from Christian Worker Theological Seminary in 2004 and received her Doctor of Ministry degree from Zhengdao Theological Seminary in 2023.

    They have one daughter (Jaqueline Yan), who now works in Vermont with her husband.

    晏魯牧師1998年蒙主呼召。2001年畢業於基督工人神學院。現在正道神學院修讀教牧博士學位。 自2001年開始進入全時間服事。曾在加州康郡福音教會（三年），紐約磐石華人宣道會（十五年）和加州華傳美國辦事處（三年）服事。2022年開始在本教會服事。 張慧鳳師母2000年蒙主呼召，自2001年起一直和晏魯牧師一起配搭牧養教會。2004年畢業於基督工人神學院，2023年在正道神學院獲教牧博士學位。 他們育有一女（Jaqueline Yan），現在和丈夫一起在佛蒙特州工作。

  • Ringo Liu 廖锦安 - Cantonese Ministry Pastor 粤语堂牧師

    Pastor Ringo is the pastor of Cantonese Ministry. He is married to his wife, WeiHong, and they have a daughter Lois.

    Pastor Liao graduated with a Master of Divinity from China Evangelical Seminary in Taiwan. He served as a missionary in Taiwan for ten years and as a pastor in Hong Kong, California, and New York for thirteen years. He has been pastoring the Cantonese ministry at the Harbin Chinese Baptist Church in Connecticut since December 2018. Pastor Liao actively works with churches in New York and Connecticut to promote gospel work.

    Pastor Liao's hobbies are jogging and table tennis. Hope to spread the gospel without activities.

    Gospel mission: Spread the gospel as much as possible.

    廖錦安牧師是本教會粵語堂牧師，妻子是廖史偉紅師母，女兒廖君兒Lois今年就讀高中12年班。

    廖牧師畢業於台灣中華福音神學院道學碩士。曾先後在台灣宣教十年；以及在香港、加州及紐約牧會十三年。並在康州哈城華人浸信會，自2018年12月開始牧養粵語堂至今。廖牧師在紐約及康州積極與教會一起推動福音工作。

    廖牧師嗜好是慢跑及乒乓球活動。盼望以不用活動傳福音。

    福音使命：廣傳福音，盡力而為。

  • Gene Sun - English Ministry Pastor 英文堂牧師

    Gene Sun has been the English Pastor at CBCGH since 2023. He has served in a variety of church settings for over 20 years, from large multi-site churches to small churches, as well as non-profit ministries. Gene was educated at the University of Pennsylvania (undergraduate) and earned his seminary degree at Alliance Theological Seminary. He is married to his wife, Barbara, and they have 4 children, Mattie, Bridget, Steven, AJ, and Daisy the dog. When Gene isn’t serving CBCGH, you can find him driving his children around to all their sports and activities, and coaching his daughter’s soccer team, a sport he never played.

    孙牧師於1998年在賓夕法尼亞大學開始學習機械工程。但在2000年，他感受到牧會的召喚，因此在完成工程學位後，於2002年開始在丹伯里華人宣道會擔任青年牧師。他於2006年從Alliance Theological Seminary獲得碩士學位，並於2014年被按立為牧師。在過去的22年中，他在各種牧會職位上服務過，包括青年牧師、副牧師，以及在反人口販運、城市教育和領導力事工中的非營利財務和運營角色。自2023年以來，他一直在CBCGH擔任英文牧師。

    孙牧師自2012年與他的妻子Barbara結婚，並育有四個孩子 (Matilda, Bridget, Steven, and Andrew)。當他不在擔任牧師或父親的角色時，他是自1999年以來參加的一個聯盟中最成功的幻想體育經理之一。他在擔任青年足球教練方面的成功較少。

  • Daniel Lee - 青少年牧師 Youth Pastor

    Pastor Dan (PD) is the Youth Pastor at CBCGH. He is the most beautiful and handsome youth pastor in the world. PD has a wife Chelsea and one daughter Verity. He graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Master's in Youth Ministry in 2013 and has led youth ministries since 2012. Pastor Dan loves to make awesome balloon animals and completely original video content.

    Daniel是CBCGH的青少年牧師。他常说知己是世界上最美麗和英俊的青年牧師。Daniel牧師的妻子是Chelsea，女兒是Verity。他於2013年畢業於Azusa Pacific University，獲得青年事工碩士學位，並自2012年以來一直領導青年事工。Daniel牧師喜歡製作很棒的氣球動物和原創的視頻內容。

  • We believe that all the Scripture is inspired by God. We believe that all the Scripture centers around the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct of a Christian.

  • We believe that man was originally created by God in His own image, and that man has fallen in sin, consequently lost his spiritual life, died in trespasses and sins, and was subjected to the power of the devil. We believe that only through the regeneration by the Holy Spirit can man receive the salvation and the spiritual life.

  • We believe that our redemption has been accomplished solely by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the salvation of the believers comes through faith in Christ alone.

  • We believe that the Lord Jesus will come in the air to receive His own believers into heaven and that this event is our blessed hope and we should be constantly looking forward to this.
