Sunday Service ESC schedule: Sunday Services are at 1:00pm at the Gilbert Hall of First Baptist Church in West Hartford. The following dates are the combined service at the main sanctuary: Annual General Meeting(AGM) (January) Easter Independence Day Labor day Mission Conference Sunday for MSC and CSC (October) Thanksgiving Christmas About ESC Sunday Service Since its inception in 1998, the English speaking congregation at CBCGH has grown from about 40 attendees weekly to 75. The focus of our service follows a traditional Baptist format combined with a contemporary praise session at the beginning of service. The purpose of our Sunday services is to gather together and worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as one body. Through the talents of the worship leaders as well as offerings of words, encouragement and wisdom that each member has to bring, we hope that each Sunday is a unique experience in helping us to draw closer in relationship to our Father. Children's Service Children's Service is basically a worship service that's run by the children for the children, and was designed for kids in 3rd to 12th grade. Our purpose it to meet the spiritual needs of the children God sends us, and our desire is to create an atmosphere where God's word is both taught, and lived out. A typical service includes scripture reading, praying, singing hymns, praise time, and a message/sermon. The goal of Children Service is to offer a time specifically designed to help kids grow in their relationship with God and have a service which is called their own and at the same time strengthening the family. It was created to give the children Additionally, it gives the children both a time to worship and allows them, at a young age, to learn how to serve the church. Service starts at 2:45, and lasts until about 3:30.
